Watching the first series, and hearing the criticism it received, made me think that it was unpopular only because IT as a subject is unfashionable and they weren’t trying to ‘sex it up’ as so much TV does.

    the it crowd was terrible. as a fan of father ted and richard ayoade (nathan barley, mighty boosh) i was really looking forward. unfortunately, it turns out that without arthur mathews, graham linehan is about as funny as cancer.

    It’s true that it isn’t as good as those you mentioned, but I thought it got an unfair pounding by the critics.
    Perhaps it just meant more to me than many because of my experience in IT.
